Forum: web Subject: * (asterisk) at end of URL makes wayback of the page UNavailable

Decided to see what Waybacks of wikipedia's article about Bananas!* film there was, so pasted that URL into Wayback's "Browse History" search and

ended up at https://web.archive.org/web/*/https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bananas!* ,
where the wayback of that Wikipedia article is UNavailable.

which is understandable as that is how archive.org URLs are for the "Want to search for all archived pages under http://www.example.com/ " feature
(example: https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.example.com/b* ),
but would still be nice to be able to look at a wayback of a webpage that ended with an asterisk.
